Thanks for sending the results so quickly, and for providing a very unique race experience. The location was great -- although 4 loops during a marathon are a bit tough, mentally, the scenery was just great. I loved seeing the birds, the alligators, and the entire wetlands area. And, the volunteers at the aid stations were VERY friendly, although they had very little knowledge of the course.

The good stuff: the course, the venue, rest station every mile w/portajohn (+water, sports beverage, banana halves - good idea, whole banana is too much; orange quarters - right size again, at least one had bread + peanut butter), nice bathrooms and portajohns at start/finish, the bakery products at the finish were delicious, massage, I told the start line people two aid stations were out of water and when I got to them the next time they had water - now that's fast action!

First let me say that I thoroughly enjoyed the race, even with the confusion in the 1/2 marathon. I entered for the fun of it! This was my first "off road" 1/2 marathon, and the location was awesome.
