This is just a quick email to you to say thank you for the great Orlando Xtreme Half Marathon event on January 20. I have just returned to the UK, hence the delay in contacting you. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and would like to extend my thanks to all the officials. As could be anticipated in America, the support and enthusiasm of the spectators and other competitors was excellent - even if starting in the dark was a new experience for me. Imagine my suprise on returning home to discover that I finished second in my age group! My best result ever. I had hoped to be first international competitir but note that there was someone from Mexico - perhaps I was first European? Thanks again and I hope to be able to take part again another year.

I enjoyed my first Buttar event on Saturday 1/20/07. It was a well organized event.

The race was well organized and appropriately staffed for a race of that size.

I loved the trail marathon. Course is very nice and interesting, paths are good. I really liked having pretzels for food! Will probably run this again next year.

First off I want to say that I had a great time at the race on Saturday. I had a wonderful day there and it was a perfect day for the race. Thank you again for a great race, see you all at Wild Man!

Thanks for a great race. This was one of my most enjoyable marathons and well worth the trip from California. Great Course, friendly support staff and the post race breakfast was terrific. Thanks for your support of the 50 State Marathon Club. I'm glad I chose your race for my Florida marathon.

This was my first Buttar event (but 34th marathon) and I was very satisfied. The course worked well for me and everyone was very friendly. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks. I prefer the new marathon course to the old one in the park. The new one is more shaded and scenic. There is more variety.

As I understand it we had a new course this year because the park was unavailable; well this new course is a winner. I suggest alternating the courses: run the Seminole Ranch WMA course on odd-numbered years and the Orlando Wilderness Park on even-numbered years. The park had the lakes and the birds while the WMA had shade and out-and-back portions so you could see more people and not feel so lonely. Thank you.

Hi -- it was great. Thanks for putting it on. I did tell one of the photographers to move down the road to a more scenic spot (and she did!)

Great race. I came up from Boca Raton - I was the guy walking in the back of the 1/2. I will do this one again.

Thanks for a good run yesterday. I ran last year, also, and was expecting the same course. I liked this one much better although the wild life was a bit more interesting on the other course. The shaded areas were a welcome relief. I cannot say enough good things about your aid stations. It was great knowing there were plenty of them out there. I was absolute LAST, so I really appreciated everyone staying out there.
