I just wanted to let you know that both my son and I really enjoyed the Xtreme 10K. We both managed to place 1st in our respective divisions, and I ended up in 10th place overall, which was a very pleasant surprise. This was Brendan's 1st 10K and I was real proud of him. We talked about a goal pace before the race, and he was able to better it, and without me running right at his side pushing him. He is now talking about giving a half marathon a shot in the near future.
