Swim waves were excellent! Just the right amount of time between waves. Just the right amount of people in each wave. Nice to swim and not get pummeled because of overcrowding. It was good to caution folks on the bike - smart move. I'd do it again.

Dear Buttar Family,
The Baldwin race was another wonderful event and I thank you for your efforts to provide an excellent experience. This is the second year my son and I have raced at this event and look forward to coming back next year.
Thank you

Z,
Great race today. I know there a lot of logistics to pull off an event of this size, but I think you and your team did a great job.

Hi,
I competed in the Baldwin Park Sprint Tri this morning. This was my first triathlon and I am so happy I signed up for this one. The webinar and the guided course preview were extremely helpful. I felt so prepared when I got out on the course today. You guys really went the extra mile with the webinar and course preview. I wanted to let you know how helpful it was and how appreciated. After seeing all the work Buttar puts into its events, I took advantage of the discount and signed up for the half marathon in the fall.
The race seemed very well organized and was very fun to compete in, although very tiring! I am definitely excited to continue triathlons. Thanks to everyone for all the hard work putting this event on!

Thanks for the great race, nice location, well organized, a little weedy
(goes with the shallow lakes), multiple laps on the bike a little
challenging for the faster riders. Volunteers were awesome, friendly and
helpful. Great job to everyone at Buttar.

Hi there,
Thanks for another great race. Organized well and staffed well. Lots of
police officers too which I am sure is expensive. Thanks for the nice fruit
selection of bananas, oranges and watermelon!
Thanks again,

This was my first Triathlon and I thought it was handled very well. I did not have any trouble knowing where I need to go in the transitions. My only negative thought would be the weeds at the beginning and end of the swim, but I understand you can’t control mother nature. All in all I enjoyed the event as did my friends and family and will be back next year….
Thanks for putting it on….

Z, it's my 4th year doing the race, and I love it b/c it is so close to my home and has a great neighborhood feel.
Thanks,

Z,
I really want to give you and your staff lots of kudos for the high quality races you all put on, on a consistent basis! I particularly enjoyed the course at Baldwin Park with the run around the lake – your staff is always courteous and professional and they helped me get going in the right direction coming out of the bike transition and beginning the run. My wife and I really appreciate all the races you put on and how you’ve grown into a “top notch” outfit. Between Moss Park and Baldwin Park you have the perfect blend of urban vs. “country” settings. You also treat all your multi-sport athletes with respect, not just the triathletes – as a mostly duathlete I really appreciate that.
Look forward to your races in the future! I hope you’re around for a long time – I’m very appreciate of your races being right in our backyard so to speak.
Take Care,
Sean Black

I enjoyed the Baldwin Park Duathlon so much. It was my first one and I could not have picked a better event for my 1st one. My 1st experience with Buttar was the 2006 moonlight ramble. I did the 5k, 1 mile and the 10 k. What great fun they were. You guys do a superb job.
Again, thanks
